Dr Siobhán Seward-Swann

Dr Siobhán Seward-Swann is a clinical psychologist and founder of All Brains Psychology. She has been working in psychology in the UK and Australia for over 18 years.
She completed her PhD in clinical psychology, focusing on how autistic children learned therapeutic and educational skills from touch screen apps. Siobhán works with children, adolescents and adults with mental health difficulties and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD.
She has experience and knowledge with understanding the more unique female phenotype and presentation of autism and ADHD, and is skilled in assessments in such areas with internalised and camouflaged presentations. Siobhán has experience in delivering presentations on neurodiversity in schools, lecturing on neurodevelopmental conditions and delivering group therapy, and social skills groups in schools. Siobhán is EMDR trained and skilled with EMDR adaptation for neurodivergent minds.

In her spare time she enjoys stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, zumba, and walks on the beach with her dog.​​

Siobhán completed her undergraduate training in psychology, in the beautiful southwest coast of England, Plymouth, Devon.
2013-2020
PhD Clinical Psychology - Swinburne University, Hawthorn, Australia
Siobhán completed a combined Master's and PhD in clinical psychology in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Hawthorn.
Her clinical placements included:

The Alfred Hospital in the heart transplant and failure ward, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases department helping patients with mental health issues and work around the brain - gut link.

The Victoria Clinic - DBT program, ACT and mindfulness group therapy programs.

Mecwacare Trescowthick Centre Residential home in Prahran - developed a reminiscence therapy program for older adults.

The Swinburne Psychology Clinic- worked with adolescents and young adults with mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, social difficulties and relationship issues.

Other clinical experience:
Siobhán worked at the Priory Group in the UK, helping people with mental health issues (depression & anxiety). She also worked with neurodiverse children, adolescents and young adults in a residential school.
Prior to Siobhán's psychology career she studied performing arts, taught dance and performed on stage in various roles.
