Alyssa Dugosija

Alyssa is a registered psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about providing neuroaffirming and trauma-informed care, supporting her clients to reach their own goals.

Alyssa uses CBT, DBT, ACT, Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing techniques, enabling her to tailor her approach according to her clients’ needs and preferences.

Alyssa has a wide range of clinical interests. In particular, she has experience in areas such as neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotion regulation and co-regulation, interpersonal difficulties, and behavioural difficulties.
​
Alyssa is passionate about thorough assessment in order to identify underlying reasons for her clients’ difficulties, promoting self-compassion and understanding.
​
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys taking her puppy on adventures, trying out cafes, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
