Michela Burke
BSc (hons), MProfPsych, MAPS
Michela is a registered psychologist who strives to create a warm, supportive space where curiosity, reflection, and self-exploration can flourish.
She aims to empower her clients to move in directions that align with their values, identify their strengths, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. Through establishing a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship, challenges that initially feel overwhelming can become more manageable and easier to face.
Michela helps her clients navigate a range of presentations such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, panic attacks, neurodivergence and relationship difficulties. She draws on frameworks such as CBT, ACT, CPT and schema therapy. She works with adults and adolescents, and incorporates the use of a range of assessment tools and processes.
Michela’s principal qualifications are a Master of Professional Psychology from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours at Melbourne University and Swinburne University. She has a background in teaching English as a Second Language and has volunteered working with women affected by domestic violence.
In her spare time, Michela enjoys playing the piano, learning new languages, and trying out new recipes.

Michela completed a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology at The University of Melbourne.

Michela gained her Honours degree (Psychology) at Swinburne University where she researched how the COVID lockdowns impacted the rates of domestic violence in Australian homes

2023
Michela completed a Master of Professional Psychology at Monash University.
