Kate Badger
BBS(Psych), BPsych(Hons), MProfPsych, Member of APS and AAPI
Kate is a friendly and compassionate registered psychologist with experience in providing therapy as well as cognitive, educational, and neurodevelopmental assessments (Autism and ADHD).
She focuses on building authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationships and creating a safe and judgement-free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
She aims to help clients develop a greater understanding of themselves and feel empowered to overcome obstacles and make positive change.
Her treatment style utilises evidence-based techniques drawn predominantly from CBT and ACT for a variety of presentations including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, phobias, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, and stress.
Kate is neuroaffirming in her approach to assessments and aims to make the process as comfortable as possible.
Together with her clients, she explores their strengths and areas of difficulty in order to identify and customise strategies that can be used to support them in their daily lives.
She provides assessments for children, adolescents, and adults and is available for therapy with adolescents and adults.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, and walking along her local beach.
