EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

EMDR is a structured therapy designed to help people recover from traumatic or distressing experiences. It works by using guided eye movements (or other forms of bilateral stimulation) to help the brain process memories that may feel “stuck” or overwhelming.

Over time, these memories become less triggering, and the associated distress is reduced. EMDR can be effective for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, phobias, and other emotional difficulties, helping individuals feel more in control and able to move forward with their lives.

At All Brains we also tailor EMDR for our neurodivergent clients including those who have eating disorders and OCD.
